Palm Springs Human Rights Commission
The mission of the Human Rights Commission of Palm Springs is to promote improved human relations, civic peace, inter group understanding and the full acceptance, respect and participation of all persons in all aspects of community life so that we will be equal in the eyes of each other.

The Commission meets at the Palm Springs City Hall the second and fourth Thursdays of the month; except, during August, November and December. The Commission is "dark" during August. The meetings begin at 6 pm and are televised live on Palm Springs Community Television, Channel 17. The Thursday following the meeting, Channel 17  replays the prior  week's meeting from 6 to 8 pm.
